In 2009 we have worked especially hard to develop new services that are helping our clients lower their operating expenses each day. A few of these new services are:
- UL Label Printing. Hunkar is now one of a select group of authorized suppliers of labels with UL marks for manufacturers and distributors. Many unauthorized label suppliers are selling UL marks, putting businesses at risk of fine or recall. Our service eliminates these risks, includes custom and short run applications and saves our clients the cost of equipment, software, training and labor required to produce UL marks.
- Printer Repair. Hunkar is a certified printer repair house for Intermec, Zebra, Datamax and Sato. We offer multiyear depot contracts.
- Custom Preprint Labeling. Hunkar offers quick turn label pre-print capabilities for trial and short run label printing applications.
- On Site Evaluation Services. Hunkar technical staff will visit client facilities to analyze existing data management processes and recommend, when appropriate, techniques and technologies that can dramatically lower operating costs and improve accuracy.

Hunkar, a well known provider of UL® recognized components for Thermal Transfer Label Printing and pre-printed Bar Code, RFID and Product Labels, has expanded its pre-printed label line with labels including the authorized UL® marks, made to order for its manufacturer clients. Labels with UL® marks, will be available in a wide variety standard and custom sizes and shapes, produced with the highest quality recognized label materials.

Today, Dynamic Bar Code Systems, Inc. announced that Hunkar Data and Barcode Systems, Inc. a subsidiary of Hunkar Technologies, Inc. had acquired certain assets of Dynamic Bar Code Systems, Inc.
Hunkar supports clients throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe and the Far East. This acquisition completes another step in Hunkar’s long-term strategy to position itself among the top tier of Value Added Resellers and Integrators, offering complete data collection solutions.

Today, Alpha Systems, Inc. announced that it had been acquired by the Data and Bar Code Systems Subsidiary of Hunkar Technologies, Inc. The transaction was an asset purchase.
The purchase by Hunkar marks its fifth U.S. acquisition in the Bar Code Data Collection space. Hunkar supports clients throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe and the Far East. This acquisition completes another step in Hunkar’s long-term strategy to position itself among the top tier of Value Added Resellers and Integrators, for complete data collection solutions.
Alpha will remain at its current address in Midlothian, VA and all staff members will be retained at closing. Clients should see no difference in operations, but will benefit by experiencing a wider breadth of product line and support.
